The Student Pastors started a 6-week long practical period in this month of October. They will each be placed with a senior Pastor at his church to learn and grow under their mentorship.
Student Pastor Davie will join Senior Pastor Milliward at his church in Biriwiri Village, Ntcheu. Student Pastor Holly will join Senior Pastor Daston at three churches in Mulanje.
It is going to be a busy time for them. They will be doing open-air meetings for evangelism, pastor visitations, managing a church and conducting the Lord's Supper, baptisms of new believers and weddings. They will be assisting the head pastor in church services, Bible studies and prayer meetings as well as conduct them themselves. There are also youth outreach programs and much more.
They will need our prayers for strength and support.
We are grateful that God provided for all their needs so far, and blessed them in this big step they took into their calling. May God bless the hands that have given to this project, and may the good news of how God's work is going forward motivate and encourage you.
